The Royal Wedding

Its the evening before the Royal Wedding and there's still no word on what the future Queen Kate will be wearing down the aisle. Only the secret service could keep a secret like this covered up.. Miss Middleton's laid back, feminine style and unstuffy attitude aren't typical of her predecessors. Gossip on the street told of a clash between Kate's wish to wear a hippyish garland of flowers and the rest of the family's expectation of her to wear a tiara..

Actually quite a fan of this ivory lace mini dress.. she looks more raucous than royal here for sure.

If she was to stick to tradition, she could look to one of her predecessors for inspiration?

Princess Diana..?

 Princess Margaret..? (looking pretty Grace Kelly esque)

 Or our current queen.. HRH Elizabeth II?

Some how I don't see her wearing anything quite so fussy. So who will she wear? Kate will almost definitely be in a British designer - for diplomatic reasons.. Rumour has it that she'll wear a Sarah Burton creation under the Alexander McQueen brand - maybe like this incredibly embellished dress from Fall/Winter '11.. (never enough feather..!)

If I was a betting person I'd say that Alexander McQueen might be a bit of a controversial figure and the royal aides would be pushing for Kate to wear a heritage brand like Burberry.. Emma Watson wore an almost bridal dress by Christopher Bailey recently.. Fill in that thigh split and I'm sure I could see her swathing down the aisles of Westminister Abbey in this dress tomorrow.

Obviously we'll find out in less than 24 hours.. I have my party planned already, starts at 10am tomorrow morning...whooopeee (might have to have a quiet one tonight because tomorrow is going to be big)

Lily Dress

I love this dress, but you have to be brave to wear it! It makes such a statement.

I needed to tone the angelic side of the dress down, so I paired it with a Goldie Studded faux leather jacket (stock of this jacket is a month wait away) and an old pair of Chanel sandals, and my BEAUTIFUL red patent Chanel bag (that i bought a few years ago... and now I am high 5'ing the fact that brights are back in so i can wear it again!)

This dress is also available in black ...so its a really tough choice!

Boho's Back.. Coachella 2011

The white dresses and strappy sandals of Coachella Music and Arts Festival are a long way away from the rain macs and wellies you expect to see in festivals in the UK. Can you imagine trudging through 6 inches of mud at Glastonbury in your favourite gladiator sandals? Most of our favourite looks from the festival were the gorgeous white maxis (rather brave) and shift dresses that seemed to be on every other celeb! Here are our favourite looks we've seen so far..

By far the biggest trend was for ivory - in all shapes and sizes.. Alessandro Ambrosio

Georgia Cape...

What more can I say...A SUMMER CAPE IS ALL YOU NEED!
I paired my vintage shorts with a Crochet top from our Summer collection, sheer black tights and brown loafers from Topshop.

Pret a Portobello

As a person who loves a day at the markets.. (proven here!) I know all the pitfalls - adverse weather; the sorest feet imaginable; crowds of people who just stop and cause pedestrian jams - which is why pretaportobello.com is such a great idea.. It has all the best brands from all the best markets, not just Portobello.. there's stuff from Spitalfields, Brick Lane etc.. (including Goldie!).

They've even got a section called Let's Trade where you try and haggle down prices.. I'm still unsure whether it could replace the buzz of the market but it's definitely a whole LOT more convenient..

The vibrant red version of the Ruby Maxi Dress, which you might remember seeing on Gala Gonzalez, is featured in pretaportobello.com's new Spring/Summer 11 lookbook.

I actually love the styling of the shoot.

Love Pamela Love

New York based jewellery designer Pamela Love is set to explode over the UK with her Topshop collaboration. Also, she's the first ever non-British designer to team up with Topshop, which I am sure puts even more pressure on her to make a good first impression, but after working with Zac Posen and Marchesa, we're sure Pam will take it in her stride..!

Pamela and Alexa Chung wearing some of her designs.. her style is very native american/tribal gothic.. with talons, shrunken heads and dream catchers. Its big. Its eye catching. Its got that tough feminine vibe that I love.. and it goes equally great with feather-light chiffon day dresses as it does with glam nighttime outfits.

With Lady Gaga wearing Pamela Love earrings in her video for Born This Way and True Blood showcasing her pieces.. she's definitely about to hit the mainstream.

You can never get enough of her stuff.. it looks better when loads of it is piled on which is good for Pamela's finances - bad for mine.

So practical.. haha.

Lyla Blouse...
How do you wear yours?

Yes I know... Still not quite brave enough to get my pale winter legs out yet, so I paired the pink Lyla blouse over my high waisted denim shorts (with tights). Found my vintage Christian Dior sunnies in the bottom of my drawer to add a bit of a summer tweek. I think it worked?

I cant wait for our new delivery next week... (its super summer!) so I better hit that tanning salon for my next shot.
