While in China I was able to visit a good friend of mine and amazing designer, Catherine Deane. We both attended the same college in Durban South africa, and from knowing Catherine, she is truly a worldly lady. Born born in Ireland, grew up in in South Africa, lived in London, where she established her label in 2005, and is now based out of Hong Kong. Catherine draws inspiration from her experiences in these places and her love of ‘long forgotten craft techniques.’ Her dresses and gowns are absolutely gorgeous. Check them out:
