WE ASKED PAULINE A FEW QUESTIONS:
What are you working as for Goldie?
I’m working as a Marketing and Sales Assistant.
What were you doing before your internship?
I studied in a Business School in Paris.
What do you miss the most about France?
My family, friends and my boy-friend! Some little boutiques of Paris.
French Fashion or English Fashion? ;)
When I first arrived in London I would have said “French Fashion, definitely!”, now I really like English Fashion!
Favourite place in London? In France?
I love the Markets of London (Camden, Spitalfields, Portobello...) because we don’t have that in France. I also love a pub in Old Street called The Old Blue Last, great and cheap beers and amazing free concerts!
In France I love Annecy because this is such a nice city and I lived there for two years. In Paris I love Le Marais because of all the designers and L’As du Fallafel (Best Fallafel ever and really cheap) and Les Abesses in Montmartre because this is the old and amazing Paris with good music and amazing book stores.
What has been the best thing about your Summer so far?
I spent all my summer in London and working at Goldie and I have to say that it was one of the best summers of my life, I love London, working at Goldie was very fun and instructive and I met so many cool people!
What are you going to do when you leave Goldie?
At the beginning of September we have an “integration week-end” somewhere in France with all the people of my Business School, I’m sure it’s going to be crazy!
What was your favourite Autumn/Winter Collections?
I loved Christian Dior Couture and Givenchy.
What can't you live without in your handbag?
My phone, my book, my iPod and my lipstick! And many other things, my handbag is always full…
What is your favourite item in your wardrobe?
I’ve got a Chanel bag!! (Oh my god!!!) Obviously it was a gift; I couldn’t afford it otherwise… I don't dare wear for the moment but soon I will.
What is your favourite item from the Goldie Autumn Winter Collection and why?
The Stacey Jacket, definitely! It’s the jacket I always wanted but could never find.
What are you listening to on your i-pod?
Many things but what I always listen to Bat for Lashes, Radiohead, The Klaxons, Oasis, Gossip, The Kills...
Who are your style icons?
Natasha Khan.
What are your ultimate goals for the future?
Right now I have so many projects but I would probably say creating an ethical ready-to-wear brand.
