Christmas is for overindulging, new years is for partying, January is for hibernating right? WRONG! Team Goldie have loads of tips for beating the January Blues

1. EXERCISE!! Everyone knows exercise makes you feel good, look better, gives you more energy...maybe 2012 will be the year that the resolution sticks! Goldie is based in East London so we will be checking out Frame for some dance classes (probably).

2. Stock up on more fashion magazines than you can carry and make a scrapbook of Spring trends

3. Book tickets to a Summer festival - it might only be January but that's no reason not to look forward to cider and welly time at your favourite festival! Picks for this year so far are Secret Garden Party, Wilderness and Bestival!

4. Give yourself a makeover - new year new you! Trends for 2012 mean you will be rocking a red lip, slicked back ponytail and cat inspired eye makeup before you know it!

6. Give your place an early Spring clean. All the tidying will inspire you to start your new detox routine, and everyone knows housework is practically a workout.

7. Hit the sales - the lazy way! Why venture out in the cold with crowds of people when you can stay in bed and browse the discounts on your favourite online sites... like pret a portobello, bitching and junkfood for vintage, and of course Goldie

8. Start planning your outfits for LFW in February. With this much preparation, you'll be snapped by a million style blogs in no time.

9. Fill up your karma bank! Give your pennies to charity, do some volunteering, make sure a random good deed is a feature of your day! With this much good cheer going around the blues will be gone in no time.

10. Fake it! Summer is along way off so there's no option really but to get the St. Tropez out and fake a summer glow.
