DIY- Nail Art

Hey Gals,

So one of my new ideas is to do some DIY here at Goldie.
I have always been the one that loves taking something and making it better and more special and I know how bored most of us are these days of the churned out clothing in the high street, how everything is starting to look the same and all the special things we can't really afford ourselves, so each week I am going to come up with cool ideas for you all to have some fun at home. Here's DIY week two!

This is what you will need:

Nail polish- we have used navy but this looks great with any colour
Skinny Striping Brush- (I bought mine from Superdrug but can be bought at most cosmetic stores)
A steady hand!

1) Apply a base coat of nail polish to clean bare nails. Apply a second coat once dry. Make sure the polish isn't too thick or it will peel.

2) Once dry use skinny striping brush to add dots to bottom of the nail and work your way up one side (make sure that there is enough paint at the tip of the brush or the dots will not show clearly).

3) Leave to dry. You can apply a clear top coat for extra gloss and longer lasting fabulousness!

This design was inspired by Goldie's Navy dot Gina dress...

And that's it, I hope u all like :)

LOVE

MICHELLE

Here are some more nail art ideas that I found. Let me know how you get on!
